ANGEL PROJECT 2026

Help make Christmas brighter for a local child.
Who We Serve
Angel Project organizes Christmas gifts for qualified Aledo ISD students. The children’s wish lists are fulfilled by community volunteer shoppers. AdvoCats then collects the gifts and distributes them to the families.
In 2024, nearly 600 children had gifts under the Christmas tree from the AdvoCats Angel Project and each of the 250+ families served received a grocery gift card.

What is Angel Project?
Each tag represents one of nearly 500 children who will come to Aledo Children’s AdvoCats for Christmas assistance this year.
Tags identify an age group and gender, not a specific child. Donations are organized into a welcoming selection so parents and caregivers can choose gifts that fit their children.
That keeps the process flexible, dignified and joyful for local families.
How to help
1. Choose a tag or age group. Use an Angel Project
tag, or shop from the age-group ideas on page two.
2. Purchase a new gift. Please leave it unwrapped.
Gifts of different price points are welcome.
3. Attach the tag, if you have one. Fasten the bottom
portion to the gift and keep the top as an ornament.
4. Return the gift. Use a collection site or the final
drop-off details below.

Returning Gifts
Return at a collection site before Dec. 4, or bring gifts to the final drop-off on Fri., Dec. 4.
Final Drop-off
